Our hydroponic lettuce is grown for how it tastes and feels on the plate. The leaves are soft yet crisp, with a clean snap at the base and a tender bite throughout. The flavor is mild and lightly sweet—never bitter—making it well suited for simple salads, sandwiches, and everyday meals.
Because it’s grown hydroponically, the plants receive steady moisture and nutrients from root to leaf. This gentle, consistent growth produces lettuce that is well-hydrated, delicate, and resilient, holding its texture longer after harvest than many field-grown greens. As an added benefit, hydroponic growing uses up to 95% less water than traditional in-ground methods—an important consideration here in the Kern River Valley.
We grow and harvest in small batches, selecting each head by hand at its peak. The method itself remains simple and water-conscious, allowing the lettuce to grow without stress and with minimal waste—an approach that fits naturally with life in the valley.
For our local community, we offer delivery within the Kern River Valley on orders of $25 or more, keeping fresh greens close to home and easy to enjoy.
Clean flavor. Tender texture. Grown with care.
